Union Actioning Body (UAB)
UPSU's UAB is the primary decision making body for all of UPSU's student ideas and democratic decisions. All student ideas which have gone through our ‘Have Your Say’ (link) process will come before UAB for discussion and approval. UAB members will then provide guidance, advice, and support to these campaigns.
Our UAB is made up of our 5 Sabbatical Officers, 5 Student Network Chairs, representatives from the 5 University Faculties, and 2 Union Chairs. A UAB Chair is also elected to ensure that the meeting runs effectively.
The UAB meets fortnightly in term time - View meetings and minutes.
Student Networks
Our Student Networks will work to enhance diversity on campus, improve student participation, lead and drive student campaigns and provide a crucial student voice in UPSU decision making. The role of Network chair is a voluntary position. For more information, please visit the Networks Page.
